2026 UOB Heartbeat Run is UOB’s annual volunteerism and fundraising event, bringing together colleagues, family members, customers, and partners to support meaningful community causes. As part of the UOB Heartbeat Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the event aims to create sustainable social impact by improving access to opportunities for underserved children and communities.

On 8 August 2026, more than 2,000 UOB Vietnam colleagues, their families, customers and business partners came together at M1 Field, Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, for the 2026 UOB Heartbeat Run, raising more than VND950 million through the UOB Heartbeat Fund to support digital education for underserved children across southern Vietnam.

Now in ins ninth year in Vietnam, the 2026 UOB Heartbeat Run featured 3km, 5km and 10km runs alongside family-friendly activities, interactive games and fundraising booths, creating a day of community engagement for participants of all ages.

Reflecting UOB’s sustainability commitment, this year’s T-shirt was made from recycled polyester by ANTA. UOB Vietnam also partnered with PLASTICPeople on a plastic bottle collection station to promote recycling and responsible waste management.

The event marked the culmination of two months of fundraising efforts organised by UOB Vietnam employees, including merchandise sales, a pickleball tournament, a charity music night and employee giving initiatives.

From 2023, through the UOB Heartbeat Programme, UOB Vietnam has committed to equipping five computer labs over five years for students in the Mekong Delta region, in partnership with Saigon Children’s Charity CIO.

End of 2025, the UOB Heartbeat Fund has helped provide access to computer labs and digital learning opportunities to more than 3,100 students in An Giang, empowering them with the skills and confidence to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

The UOB Heartbeat Run is UOB’s annual volunteerism and fundraising event, and a key part of the UOB Heartbeat Corporate Social Responsibility programme. Through corporate philanthropy, stakeholder engagement, and active employee participation, the programme aims to create lasting social impact for underserved communities.

Since 2007, UOB Heartbeat initiatives have raised more than US$23 million across 18 markets globally, supporting community programmes focused on arts, children, and education.

Guided by the message #keepthegoodgoing, the UOB Heartbeat Run has been held annually in Vietnam over the past eight years. Through race activities and community-driven fundraising efforts, the programme has raised over VND 3.4 billion to support underserved communities nationwide.
